sweet tube sound, great mid. The sound stage opened up and became more holographic with so much more detail. Made the phono stage on my preamp come alive. Great bass, thumping! Listen to a piece with lots of quiet space. Absolute blackness between notes. True quality.

Ultra-rare low noise tubes. These are the very rare D-getter 1959 date coded originals from Holland. These are specially selected audio grade tubes, among the rarest ever to come out of the Holland factory. Selected for critical low noise industrial/aircraft and hospital/medical equipment use. Probably the most amazing, 3D low noise 12AU7 type tube you will ever hear. Superior to the standard 1950s long plates, and well worth the extra price. it sound very close to the first ecc82 amperex made welded plate d getter i have. just amazing.

se Siemens is energetic, precise, and dynamic, the tube I like to wake up sleepy or softish vintage. Very quiet, with an extended powerful bass.

Beautiful old Mullard ECC82 types direct from a radar installation, in England. yellow label that was limited to British domestic production in the late 1950s, early 1960s. Some say these are the best 12AU7 ever.

The RT ECC82 / 12AU7 long plate (17mm) from 1958 are superb for just about any application. 1950's and 1960's French made tubes are on par with Mullard and Philips. These tubes are closer to Amperex sound

tubes are tested on tv-7 tube tester use by U.S army and airforce where minimum good for 12au7, ecc82 is 56/56. strong start around 85/85
